What are your rates?

We offer competitive rates for dog training services. While we have a basic fee structure, we may make adjustments based on individual needs. For more information, please give us a call.

Private training hourly rate: $160

Daycare and training: $160-210/day

Boarding and training: $260/day

Where are you located?

Boarding and training and daycare and training happens in NE Portland (Woodlawn), and private training sessions and detraining sessions are available in NE Portland or in your home or neighborhood.

What are your hours?

Each trainer at Plucky Puppy has different availability, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends. Once we determine we're a good fit for your training needs, you'll have access to our scheduling page and can choose appointment times that work for your schedule.

What types of payment do you accept?

We are happy to accept cash, checks, credit cards, and PayPal.

Are services refundable?

Refunds are subject to our cancelation policy, which vary by service. We require 48 hours notice to reschedule or cancel private training and daycare and training appointments. Boarding and training requires a 50% deposit upon reservation, which is 100% refundable until 30 days before the first day of service, and 50% refundable until two weeks before the first day of service. Please note that any refunds for any reason are subject to processing fees.

Do you allow children at private training appointments?

Yes! We love teaching children how to train their dogs. Our training approach is designed to strengthen the bond between dogs and all of their family members. Kids can be great dog trainers, and they are fantastic for puppy socialization purposes. Because it is nearly impossible to focus on dog training while supervising young children in a learning environment, we ask a second adult to accompany kids under the age of 10.

Do dogs have to be spayed or neutered to participate in daycare or boarding?

We welcome all dogs, regardless of reproductive status.
